Equinix is the world’s digital infrastructure company. We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, and revenue growth for Malaysia and the rest of the Southeast Asia region through Account-Based Marketing (ABM), tailored field marketing programs, and data-driven decision-making. This role aligns marketing with sales objectives, leveraging global campaigns and ensuring seamless lead progression throughout the pipeline.
The role requires analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Partner with field sales to develop territory- and account-level marketing plans that drive pipeline generation and acceleration
- Align with sales, technical, and business strategy teams to ensure unified messaging and measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with global and regional demand generation teams to integrate ABM efforts with broader campaigns
- Design and execute high-impact in-person and virtual events to deepen relationships and accelerate deal velocity
- Provide on-site support for partner and customer-facing events in Malaysia and the Southeast Asia region
- Ensure flawless execution through strong project management across logistics, timelines, and stakeholder coordination
- Implement structured follow-up processes for all generated leads, including outreach strategies and appointment setting
- Equip sales teams with tailored content and insights to support outbound efforts and improve conversion rates
- Analyze account behavior, engagement signals, and intent data to inform marketing strategies and sales outreach
- Track and report on key metrics such as pipeline influenced, deal velocity, and revenue contribution; continuously refine programs to maximize ROI
- Manage marketing budgets with discipline and transparency; oversee vendor relationships and provide regular performance reporting to stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plusMinimum 8 years of B2B marketing experience in technology (SaaS, cloud services, or data center solutions preferred)Proven track record in enterprise-level field marketing within international organizationsDemonstrated success collaborating with sales teams to drive measurable pipeline impactDeep understanding of the cloud and data center industry in Malaysia and Southeast AsiaFamiliarity with enterprise buying behavior in regulated sectors; awareness of regional market dynamics and regulatory environmentsProficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua); experience with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase, Terminus)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; analytical mindset with ability to derive actionable insights from dataFluency in English; additional regional languages are a plusSkills
