Corporate Finance Assistant Manager

Company overview

Our client is a well-established company that is currently rapidly expanding. In line with their business expansion, they are looking to bring on board a Corporate Finance Assistant Manager to join their team in PJ.

The new role

• Perform financial modelling and monitor projects Internal Rate of Returns and provide updates where necessary.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluation of the company’s short and long-term sources of funds and funding requirements / capital structuring, including prioritization and distribution of financial resources.
• Liaise with company secretary for board resolutions and announcements.
• Act as principal advisor for any corporate exercise.
• Evaluate thresholds for triggering announcements / shareholders approval / board approval.
• Monitor limits of authority for agreements being signed by the right authorized person.
• Liaise with investment market research, internal auditor, reporting accountants, solicitors, financial experts, and regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with valuers for any valuation for merger and acquisition exercises.
• Liaise and coordinate with marketing / investor relations on press releases.
• Assist in the incorporation of new companies.
• Assist in the preparation of market research, feasibility studies, calculation of returns, capital injection, and funding methods.
• Assist in the preparation of board presentation slides and evaluation proposals.
• Manage and prepare due diligence exercises / information memorandums / prospectuses for fundraising exercises.
• Review and comment on agreements (i.e., JV, M&A, etc.) on the structure and commercial terms.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines, policies and procedures, equity and debt holders covenants, and reporting requirements.

Requirements to succeed

You are a Bachelor’s degree holder in Accountancy or any equivalent accounting professional qualification. You are a team player with strong analytical skills and good communication skills in both verbal and written English. Ability to take on challenges with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
