About Nexus International School Malaysia

Nexus is located in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 2008 as part of the Taylor’s Education Group, we currently enrol 750 students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. We have an inclusive admissions policy and you can expect to teach learners with learning and language needs as well as exceptionally academic children. The student population comprises over 30 nationalities, giving our school a truly global character. Previous international experience is not required, but a desire to work in a diverse international community is essential.

Role and responsibilities

• Be a current member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). We are appointing two AHTs from this recruitment process, each with a different strategic responsibility. This advert is for the AHT - Wider Learning and Community.
• Operate with a reduced teaching load and undertake a set of operational responsibilities agreed with the Head of Secondary.
• Contribute to strategic leadership of Wider Learning and Community initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality teaching and learning across the secondary phase.
• Participate in professional learning and support staff wellbeing and professional development.

Important dates

We will be closing the application period on Wednesday 22 October. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with first-round interviews held online during the application period and for a week beyond the deadline. Final-round interviews will be conducted over a day at the beginning of November.
