Site Supervisor (Architectural Wet Trades)

Penerangan pekerjaanEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and company quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished work, addressing any deficiencies immediately. Enforce and promote a strict safety-first culture on site. Ensure all site activities comply with company and regulatory H&S policies. Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions. Monitor site progress against the project programme and prepare daily report. Proactively identify and help resolve any potential delays or issues. Monitor material usage and coordinate deliveries to minimise waste and ensure availability. Manage on-site plant and equipment. Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or a senior tradesperson in brickwork, plastering, or tiling. In-depth, practical knowledge of architectural wet trades (brickwork, blockwork, plastering, skimming, tiling). Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. IT literate and highly organised. The Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to lead our on-site teams. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of active sites, ensuring that all wet trade activities are completed safely, on time, to the highest quality standards, and within budget. This is a pivotal role that bridges planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, direct, and motivate bricklaying, plastering, and tiling crews on site.
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, manpower, and resources efficiently.
- Liaise with main contractors, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project progression.
