Supply Chain Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders based on requisitions, production plans, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with planning and production teams to forecast material needs and align procurement activities with production schedules.
• Obtain quotes and compare pricing, delivery timelines, and supplier terms to support strategic purchasing decisions.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, pricing, product details, and supplier information.
• Assist with supplier evaluations and maintain a preferred vendor list.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., planning, production, finance, warehouse) to understand purchasing needs and resolve order-related issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and support reordering processes to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
• Assist with invoice matching and resolving discrepancies with the finance team.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for customs clearance and import procedures.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with local regulations and government reporting requirements.
• Keep updated records for government audits and inspections related to imports, taxes, or duty claims.
