Job Description
Drive sales and provide end-to-end support for the company's product portfolio, including integrated solution services.Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned territory, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.Oversee the complete sales cycle—from initial engagement to quotation, negotiation, and closing—in collaboration with the Inside Sales team.Leverage CRM tools to manage leads, monitor opportunities, and enhance sales pipeline efficiency.Assist in resolving outstanding payments and contribute to inventory optimization by reducing aged stock.Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and agreements, and deliver impactful product and service presentations to clients.Provide expert guidance to customers, ensuring solutions are aligned with their operational needs.Establish strong rapport with clients, set clear sales targets, and continuously work to improve customer satisfaction.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic business decisions.Generate regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and progress against targets.Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, operations, and finance to achieve business objectives.Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and uncover new opportunities.Support senior leadership in planning, forecasting, and managing key accounts as needed.The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a Senior Business Development candidate with experience in solution-based selling to be based at Penang. The ideal candidate should have :
At least 5 years in sales / business development in trading, manufacturing, or industrial products.Strong verbal and written communication skillsSkilled in negotiation and persuasive presentationsProficient in consultative and solution-based sellingAbility to assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutionsExperienced in lead generation, qualification, and market developmentCompetent in managing sales pipelines and forecastingSkilled in contract negotiation and closing dealsCapable of writing proposals and building business casesEffective collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance)Strong time management and organizational abilitiesWhat's on Offer
