Job Description :

• Setup CNC machine for production runs, including loading CNC program, select appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine parameters to meet production requirements
• Setup of x / y / z datum for each piece; verify tool lengths and confirm in controller to avoid crash or damage
• Load / unload jigs & vise from CNC machine, and ensure squareness on machine table
• Check first piece (FP) for every part on new run; adjust cutting tool compensation in machine (d) where required
• Standby for operators in the event of excessive tool wear or tool breakage, and replacement cutting tool if necesary
• Perform tooling changeover as needed, including installing, removing and adjusting cutting tools, inserts and tool holders to optimize machining performance
• Ensure proper alignment and positioning of workpieces to achieve accurate and consistent machining results
• Monitor machining operations and inspect machined parts to verify conformance to specification
