Senior Application Support Engineer- Cantonese Speaker

Penerangan pekerjaanProvide end-to-end support for business applications running on HP-UX (B11.31), Unix Shell Scripting, and Microsoft Windows Server (NT 4.0 / 2000 / 2003) environments. Perform daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of applications, databases, and server platforms to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and maintain automation scripts (Unix Shell) to support operational tasks and improve efficiency. Support and troubleshoot applications developed in Microsoft Visual FoxPro, Gupta SQLWindows, and Clipper. Manage and support databases, including Oracle (8 / 9, Pro C), Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, and Microsoft Access 2000. Install, configure, and maintain OpenSSH for secure remote connections and system administration. Work closely with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues. Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations for knowledge sharing. Support application upgrades, patches, and migrations as required.
