Senior Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities :

• NPD Purchase raw materials / components for prototypes, pilot production driven by product development timelines
• Activate prepayment workflows for NPD / indirect purchase if required
• Indirect purchase to support operations
• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase order in SAP for approval
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and expedite shipments
• Provide forecast to critical suppliers to ensure assured supply
• Work together with Quality Assurance and liaise with suppliers on closure of RMAs or NCMRs and follow up credit note or replacement
• ECO cross-functional alignment internally and externally
• Purchase Info Record (PIR) for overall are maintain and updated accurately and timely in SAP.
• File and maintain proper purchase order and supplier quotation records
• Identify and initiate cost savings opportunities
• Participate in Continuous Improvements and Kaizen initiatives
• Performs annual evaluation of suppliers' performance
• Performs sourcing whenever required e.g. indirect purchase
• To support and comply with the Brady Corporation Global Policies, Brady Policy, Quality Policy, Environmental Policy, Safety & Health Policy and other organization policies that are relevant to job functions. To responsible, accountable and committed to fulfill the codes and statements prescribed in the policies.
