Head of Commercial Pricing role at Maxis. The role is accountable for commercial and pricing strategies for pricing submissions to Enterprise customers, including development of pricing structures, business risk assessments and commercial offerings, as well as facilitating internal approvals. The role also oversees Pricing Governance and Framework for Enterprise, including management of Pricing Forum.

The Head of Commercial Pricing leads pricing strategy for commercial proposals in line with Maxis overall strategy. This role supports the Sales team by conducting profitability analysis of commercial opportunities, takes the lead on commercial offerings, and ensures alignment with governance and approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pricing strategy for commercial proposals in line with Maxis strategy. Support the Sales team by conducting profitability analysis of commercial opportunities and take the lead in commercial offerings.
- Prepare financial models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities via quantitative analysis and other business recommendations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to plan revenue, usage and churn campaigns, including determining price points and pricing constructs.
- Provide advice and recommendations with business acumen on industry & segment pricing benchmarking, competitor reactions, and ICT growth outlook to derive recommendations for impact on existing base and forecasted new revenue.
- Develop business and financial modeling to assess profitability for pricing elements of new or revamped products & services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and obtain approval on business cases in a timely manner.
- Benchmark prices, monitor competitor pricing and assess impacts on existing base and market share.
- Establish and maintain Pricing Governance and Framework for Enterprise, including management of Pricing Forum, and reporting / tracking of commercial submissions to Enterprise customers.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.Experience : At least 10 years in pricing strategy, commercial finance, or business analysis, ideally within telecommunications or ICT. Proven leadership in pricing initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.Skills & Competencies : Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, deep business acumen, excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, and proficiency in pricing governance, competitor benchmarking, and market trend analysis.What’s next?
