Position overview
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Agent Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with a network of international / local student recruitment agents, with the primary goal of increasing student enrolments across all of the group’s schools. This role requires a strategic, relationship-driven professional who understands private international education markets, excels at building trust, and can work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth recruitment processes and high-quality student intake.
Key Responsibilities
- Agent Relationship Management : Build, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with education recruitment agents globally. Oversee the entire agent lifecycle, from negotiating agent agreements and contracts to handling renewals, performance reviews and terminations. Conduct regular check-ins and training, performance reviews and business development meetings with agents.
Recruitment & Enrolment Growth
Set recruitment targets / forecasts with agents and monitor their performance. Provide ongoing product knowledge training to support agent conversion. Identify, recruit and onboard new high performing agents in key and emerging markets. Gather and report on market intelligence from the agent network regarding competitor activities and new market trends to strengthen the school's overall strategy.Marketing & Promotion
Collaborate with the school marketing and admissions team to provide agents with up-to-date promotional materials, policies, curriculum information and success stories. Develop a Taylor’s Agent Brochure and maintain a central toolkit, ensuring agents have on-demand access to the latest brochures, fee schedules, application forms and marketing assets. Develop an annual agent marketing plan targeting agents directly to ensure they have the required knowledge to be effective brand ambassadors, as well as targeting agent families by hosting webinars, school tours and agent days. Participate in education fairs, conferences and networking events locally and internationally to promote the schools and strengthen agent relationships. Develop and manage the annual budget for all agent-related activities, including agent marketing and agent commissions. Work closely with internal admissions and marketing teams to ensure a seamless application experience for students recruited through agents.Reporting & Compliance
Ensure the recording of agent students via the CRM at each school. Track and analyse agent performance metrics, including lead quality, student application pipelines, offer and acceptance rates, visa approval rates, etc. Administer the agent commission structure, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing in close collaboration with school admissions and finance teams. Prepare regular reports for senior management on market trends, recruitment activities and target progress. Ensure all agents adhere to ethical recruitment practices and comply with relevant regulations and the schools’ policies.Skills & Experience Required
At least 10 years of working experience in developing networks and partnerships with agents.Proven experience in international student recruitment, agent management or related roles within the education sector.Strong understanding of international education markets and recruitment cycles.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and online meeting platforms.Willingness to travel internationally, where required.Seniority level
