Role Overview
RMA is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the growth of our product portfolio, focusing primarily on Remittance and Data Management platforms, as well as Customer Experience Platforms, Digital Remittance, Money Exchange, Regulatory Reporting, and Bespoke Software Solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in FinTech, RegTech, and Digital Transformation, possess a deep understanding of financial institutions’ technology needs, and excel at identifying opportunities, building relationships, and proposing value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of RMA’s products and services, including Customer Experience Platform, Remittance, RegTech, and Data Management solutions, by engaging with target clients and key decision-makers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with banks, remittance companies, and financial institutions across ASEAN.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral to promote RMA’s offerings effectively.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing strategic support, updates, and recommendations to enhance profitability and service quality.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, pipeline growth, and strategic expansion goals.
- Conduct consultative selling by understanding client requirements and aligning them with RMA’s technology solutions.
- Collaborate with internal product, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure successful solution implementation and client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to recommend product enhancements or new offerings.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and opportunity analyses for management.
- Negotiate and close business deals effectively, ensuring long-term client partnerships.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related field with 3+ years of enterprise sales experience.Strong understanding of the Banking and Financial IT ecosystem.Proven experience in solution-based / consultative selling.Excellent skills in proposal writing, RFP submissions, and structured documentation.Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships.Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Why Join RMA
