We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage to join our team at Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in overseeing the Food & Beverage operations within our leading healthcare facility.
Job Description
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the overall management of the department, including planning, organizing and directing all food and beverage operations.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and create a superior dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Collaborate effectively with Dietitians to tailor patient meal plans that meet both nutritional standards and individual preferences.
- Oversee the entire café and store operations, including scheduling and supervising the Food & Beverage team; provide coaching and mentoring as required.
- Lead and monitor inventory and stock levels while managing budgets efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety across all Food & Beverage facilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new initiatives to enhance departmental performance.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies for Food & Beverage offerings.
Job Requirements
Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or equivalent.Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in a supervisory role within the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team.Excellent customer service and the ability to deliver a high-quality dining experience.Proficient in inventory management, budgeting and cost control.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health and safety.Benefits Provided
