Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Key Account Manager to manage our strategic partnerships with key accounts. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring account plans to maximize sales, enhance brand visibility, and deliver sustainable growth across our cosmetics and beauty product portfolio. The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in building strong customer relationships, driving joint business planning, and ensuring flawless execution in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, own, and execute the business strategy for key accounts to achieve sales, distribution, and profitability targets.
- Manage the full P&L of the account, including sales forecasting, budgeting, trade spend management, and profitability analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and category managers.
- Negotiate annual business plans, trading terms, promotional activities, and joint business plans (JBP).
- Identify growth opportunities within the channel through new listings, exclusive launches, and expanded shelf space.
- Monitor category performance, shopper trends, and competitor activities to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with trade marketing to design impactful in-store visibility programs and digital activations aligned with the account’s omni-channel approach.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasts, timely order fulfillment, and smooth execution of promotional campaigns.
- Manage trade spend effectively and ensure compliance with internal policies and ROI targets.
- Conduct regular business reviews with accounts, analyzing performance, market trends, and recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and demand planning to align strategies and ensure flawless execution.
- Partner with brand teams to launch innovative beauty and cosmetics products tailored to shoppers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.5–8 years of experience in Key Account Management / Modern Trade sales, preferably within cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG.Strong track record of managing large retail accounts; experience with health & beauty chains is highly preferred.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.Solid analytical skills with experience in category management and P&L management.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.Requirements
