Logistics Senior Executive

Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 2-3 years working experience in manufacturing plant environment. Inbound / Outbound shipment coordination with freight forwarders, courier services, shipping agents, airport and seaport authority, MITI, MIDA, etc. Understanding of Customs Compliance and Free Zone Act. Understanding of Incoterms. Knowledge of shipping coordination and documentation (Arrival Notice, Bill of Lading) is an added advantage. Knowledge of customs import procedures, custom clearance is an added advantage. Certified Dangerous Goods packaging from IATA is an added advantage. Minimum a Degree or higher in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Logistics / Transportation or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Supply Chain & Production to ensure smooth flow of information regards to shipment readiness.
- Responsible in monitoring and follow-up on preparation of Export Shipping Schedule & Document.
- To ensure all the Cargoes to overseas delivery is smooth without failing timeline.
- Able to deal and liaise with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, Transporters and Customs officer if necessary.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of company's import / export procedures.
- Responsible in submitting relevant applications / documents to Custom, MITI, MIDA and other relevant government bodies for application of duty & tax exemption.
- Implement proper filling system for all documentations which is related to Logistics Department.
- Prepare import / export reports.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
