We are seeking a senior leader to head the
Power & Industrial Solutions business
- . This is a high-impact role responsible for driving business growth, building market share, and ensuring operational excellence across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership - Define and execute the long-term strategy for the division, aligning with group priorities while positioning the business as a partner of choice across oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure, and data centre industries.
- Commercial Growth - Drive revenue and profitability by strengthening core business lines while capturing opportunities in high-growth segments such as data centres and renewable energy.
- Business Development - Build, nurture, and expand strategic client relationships with developers, EPCs, government-linked bodies, and regional partners.
- Operational Excellence - Oversee large-scale projects from tender to delivery, ensuring compliance, safety, and on-time execution to world-class standards.
- Solution Innovation - Work with engineering teams to adapt and customise power and industrial solutions for evolving customer needs, including sustainable and energy-efficient technologies.
- Market Expansion - Identify and penetrate new markets across Southeast Asia, strengthening regional competitiveness and capturing export opportunities.
- Risk & Governance - Manage commercial and operational risks, ensuring adherence to compliance, contractual, and financial standards.
- Team Leadership - Inspire, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring leadership continuity.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Represent the division with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, industry associations, and multinational clients.
The Successful Applicant
This is a senior leadership role that calls for a mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have proven success in leading complex businesses within energy, industrial solutions, or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related). A Master's or MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in power systems, Oil & Gas, energy infrastructure, or related industries, with at least 8-10 years in senior management.
- Strong understanding of power generation, rotating equipment, project management, and aftermarket services.
- Demonstrated success in managing P&L, driving business growth, and delivering on large-scale projects.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to structure deals, negotiate with principals, and develop new business channels.
- Familiarity with emerging sectors such as data centres and renewables will be highly valued.
- Experienced in stakeholder management, including principals, consultants, regulators, and large enterprise customers.
- Strong people leadership track record - proven ability to mentor, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- International exposure in regional markets or cross-border projects is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills to engage effectively with C-suite customers and global partners.
