Job description

Job Description

  • Responsible in assisting the Senior Purchasing Executive in sourcing, selecting and negotiation with suppliers to constantly strive for the best price
  • Build mutually beneficial relationship with vendors
  • Negotiate price with suppliers with at least 3 rate comparisons
  • Involved in open tender projects
  • Prepares PO by verifying specifications, price and terms
  • To confirm date of delivery
  • Work out PR with QS for material requested
  • Understand the actual specification QS required
  • Maintain proper control and records on quotations, material specifications
  • Monitor inventory
  • Scheduling delivery according to requestor demand, track order status to make sure on time delivery
  • Expedite material to fulfill production requirements
  • Out sourcing overseas / global supplier when necessary
  • Resolves error in shipment with vendors and logistic department
  • Liaison with other departments, the QA, PMC, warehouse, finance, facility, equipment or which are relevant
  • Tax invoice matching by comparing items received to items ordered;
  • Manage payment to vendors
  • Identify price discrepancies as they arise
  • Maintain meticulous records so information can be easily retrieved
  • Update supplier list from time to time
  • Update / gather latest product update

Job Requirement

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in business related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years or five (5) years in the same field
  • Languages required : English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Experience in sourcing vendors and strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationship both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
  • Candidate with construction background are encourage to apply
  • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : RM2, RM3,500.00 per month

    Work Location : In person
