Overview
Role Overview : Our Construction Manager role requires the successful candidate to deliver the Project on our design & built of onshore turnkey EPCC scope of works. This requires to ensure strict and timely project management such that the project is timely, cost optimised, and compliant to client requests and legal regulations.
This is a 2-year contract role.
Pre-requisites
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) degree in engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in the oil / gas industry, particularly in Southeast Asia. (Experience in LNG and oil & gas is mandatory)
- Must have minimum 5 years of similar management position in major LNG & oil / gas projects
- An advanced degree in construction management is highly desirable.
- Must have familiarity with latest construction methods, modern project management techniques, and environmental engineering aspects.
- Requires specific knowledge in coordinating contract packages, constructability review, site plan management, tracking construction progress. (Experience in management of construction interfaces and coordination of construction activities with Marine Contractor / Construction Manager is required.)
- Must have experience of planning for the whole construction process from inception through to completion and to be able to create programmes that are underpinned by a basis of programme narrative.
- Relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.
Responsibilities
Managing the site construction progress to ensure the project is delivered on time, safely, compliant with requirements and allocated budget.Supervising teams and managing subcontractors / vendors relating to the piping, mechanical equipment erection and electrical works.Reporting Line
