About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Basis / Infrastructure Specialist with 10+ years of expertise in SAP Basis administration and infrastructure management. This is a senior individual contributor role , requiring deep technical knowledge, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex enterprise SAP landscapes. A strong background in Unix / Linux systems will be highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical SAP environments, while acting as a subject matter expert for technical SAP operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Landscape Ownership : Act as the technical lead for SAP Basis across multiple landscapes (ECC, S / 4HANA, BW / BI, Solution Manager, Fiori, etc.).
• System Administration : Oversee installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems and supporting infrastructure.
• Performance & Reliability : Conduct regular system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system availability.
• Upgrades & Patching : Execute complex SAP upgrades, migrations, kernel updates, and database patching with minimal downtime.
• Security & Compliance : Manage system security, authorizations, and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Infrastructure Integration : Ensure seamless integration between SAP systems, databases, and operating environments (Unix / Linux preferred).
• Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis : Lead the resolution of high-priority incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• High Availability & DR : Implement and support high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Technical Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, operational processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Application, Infrastructure, and Security teams to drive end-to-end system reliability and project success.
