IT Support Specialist – Supportwave
Location : Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory, Malaysia.
Supportwave is a leading IT services company focused on compliant and secure technology infrastructure. As an onsite IT Support Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive support for hardware, software, and networks, manage IMACD processes, ensure compliance, and provide user training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end‑user support for mobility devices, desktop and server hardware, audio‑visual systems, and telepresence solutions.
- Troubleshoot software and network issues; manage IMACD (install, move, add, change, delete) changes.
- Perform data backup and recovery; maintain server (Windows / Linux) and AV / telepresence systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve incidents and support audits.
- Provide training and knowledge‑base updates; respond to urgent requests including weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
Experience in IT support with hardware / software IMACD, network support, and AV / telepresence systems.Proficiency configuring Android, macOS, and iOS devices.Basic networking knowledge and server maintenance skills.Familiarity with ticket management tools, SLA tracking, data backup / recovery.Strong communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.ITIL Foundation certification.Vendor‑specific certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AV systems).Apply via the Supportwave website for details.
