Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibility

• Inventory Management : Oversee the tracking of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries to ensure sufficient stock to meet customer demand. Conduct regular inventory audits and coordinate cycle counts.
• Order Fulfilment : Coordinate the receipt, processing, and fulfilment of customer orders. Ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping products.
• Warehouse Operations : Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including materials handling, stock control, and housekeeping.
• Logistics Coordination : Schedule and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Vendor Relations : Liaise with vendors and suppliers to resolve any receiving or shipping issues.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all warehousing activities, including inventory records, shipping logs, and order forms.
• Quality Control : Ensure the quality of goods received and shipped out, and manage any returns or exchanges in a timely manner.
• Reporting : Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and throughput.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Customer Service : Address customer inquiries and complaints related to warehousing and logistics, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
