Client Coverage / Business Development Executive – Corporate Trust Division
As a Client Coverage / Business Development Executive, you will primarily be assisting in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships and positioning our trust and agency services effectively in the market. As part of our Client Coverage team in the Corporate Trust Division, you will support senior coverage team members in managing projects from initial enquiry through pitching, onboarding and execution. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to corporate Corporate Bond / Sukuk issuances, Syndicated loans, REITs and structured finance deals. Working alongside with investment banks, law firms, asset managers and corporates.
This role combines project coordination, client support, and market research. It’s a fast-paced environment that offers learning, mentorship, and growth, making it a strong launchpad for anyone aspiring to build a career at the intersection of finance, legal, and capital markets.
Responsibilities
- Project & Client Support – Assist senior team members in managing opportunities end-to-end : from enquiry, research, and pitching through to onboarding and execution. Support client communication and ensure follow-ups and deliverables are met. Assist in preparing for client meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Business Development Support – Help identify and develop new opportunities across our trust and fiduciary services, such as Facility & Security Agent Services; Custodian & Escrow Services; Employee Share Option & Share Grant Plan Trustee.
- Relationship Building – Build and maintain professional relationships with investment banks, corporate finance firms, fund managers, law firms and issuers under the guidance of the senior team.
- Market Research & Strategy – Monitor capital market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities. Provide insights to strengthen service offerings and market positioning. Assist in drafting marketing materials, proposals, and pitch decks.
- Operational & Compliance Coordination – Work with legal, compliance and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and regulatory compliance. Support client due diligence (KYC / AML) for new and existing relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related field.1–3 years of experience in business development, client support, financial services, or legal practice. Fresh graduates with strong internships will also be considered.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.A self-starter with initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM tools a plus.Above all : curiosity, drive, and willingness to learn.#J-18808-Ljbffr
