Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Responsible for taking-off quantities as and when required by Project Manager or General Manager.
• Responsible for computing or obtaining prices or cost estimates as and when required by Project Manager or General Manager.
• In tender or business proposal, tasks include, but not limited to, the following :

(a) responsible for computing or obtaining base prices;

(b) responsible or assists in obtaining pertinent information (e.g. materials, goods, products, sub-contractors, labour, vendors, suppliers, manufacturer's specifications, method statement, schedule of particulars, market condition present and projected, etc.);

(c) assists in coordinating compilation of tender document, checking for completeness / compliance and submission in a timely manner.

(a) timely preparation of claims and submission to Customer and;

(b) timely processing of sub-contractors' and vendors' claim.
