Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities :

• Manage and prepare contracts, tender documents and other requirements applicable to the projects.
• Projecting cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.
• Coordinate with site project team in administering contractual matters such as variation order, extension of time, project cost control, work permit etc.
• Call for quotation & negotiation with the supplier / sub-contractor, monitor, control project cost and raise purchase order.
• Verify and evaluate Contractual Claims and supplier invoice before passing to account dept for payment purpose.
• Attending site meeting, project brief meeting & design brief meeting.
• Monitoring and keeping track of project progress and take responsibility for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract;
• Liaising with site managers and other necessary people to ensure the project follows to the timeline.
• Resolve outstanding claim issues, prepare variation orders (VO) promptly.
• Other duties as assigned by superior.
