The Sales Development Representative plays a key role in driving the company's growth within the renewable energy sector. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting market expansion in solar, wind, energy storage, and emerging clean energy technologies through effective inside sales activities
Sales & Business Development
- Account profiling skills with identifying the key stakeholders from assigned customer list
- Supports Marketing activities and other Sales campaigns by managing and nurturing leads into opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, developers, and government agencies.
- Setting up 3-way customer meetings / appointments with Sales Team
- Provide a warm hand over process of opportunity to Sales Team
- Assist Sales Team with opportunity progression
Client Engagement
Identify multiple personas from one customer accountPresent renewable energy solutions and benefits to prospective clients.Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.Market Intelligence
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant government policies or incentives (e.g., Net Energy Metering, Feed-in Tariff).Provide insights and feedback on market demands and customer expectations.Sales Administration
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports for management.Ensuring timely updates in CRMUndertake any other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior / Senior Management team.Skills & Competencies
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in solar PV, energy efficiency, or electrical systems.Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).Familiar with Malaysian renewable energy regulations and incentives (e.g., SEDA, NEM, MyHijau).Ability to work independently and travel within Malaysia as required.Possess own transport and a valid driving license.Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).Technical understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, or energy management systems.Strong network in the construction, property development, or manufacturing sectors.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
