Job descriptionAssist with documentation, filing, and record-keeping. Handle basic office administration tasks such as preparing reports, letters, and data entry. Support coordination of school events and activities (IT setup, logistics, admin tasks). Manage inventory and stock for IT equipment and office supplies. Provide general administrative support to the school office as required. Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 1–2 years of experience in IT support or administrative role (fresh graduates with internship experience may be considered). Basic knowledge of networking, pc troubleshooting and Microsoft 365 cloud. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask. A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude. We are seeking a reliable and proactive IT / Admin Support to join our team at Knewton Global Schools Rawang. The role involves providing day-to-day technical support to staff and students, maintaining IT systems and equipment, as well as assisting with general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good organizational abilities, and the flexibility to support both IT and administrative functions in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers and other IT equipment.
- Support teachers and staff with IT-related classroom tools (e.g., interactive boards, Microsoft 365 and School management system).
- Monitor and ensure the smooth running of internet and Wi-Fi connections.
- Assist with system updates, backups, and basic IT security measures.
- Liaise with external IT vendors or contractors when necessary.
