Job descriptionMinimum 3 years of leading role in fast-paced hot kitchen. Exceptional cooking skills. Ability to effectively manage the kitchen staff, motivate them and assign duties fairly. Knowledge of health and safety standards. Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. 5-Day Work Week Gazetted Double Pay on Public Holiday Staff Meal Provided Medical Claim Staff Discount up to 50% Team Member Referral Programme What’s your expected monthly basic salary? Responsibilities
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
- Create schedules for kitchen employees and evaluate their performance.
- Manage the kitchen teams in the head chef's absence.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
