Halal Executive

Job Summary :

The Halal Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of Halal compliance in the organization's products, processes, and supply chain. This role ensures adherence to the guidelines set by relevant Halal certification bodies and supports continuous improvement in Halal assurance systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure the company's products, ingredients, and processes comply with Halal requirements and certification standards (e.g. JAKIM, MUI, MUIS, etc.)
• Act as the liaison with Halal certification bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Manage and renew Halal certifications and ensure timely submission of documentation.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to maintain Halal integrity throughout production and supply chains.
• Review raw materials and suppliers to verify their Halal status and maintain an up-to-date approved supplier list.
• Organize and deliver Halal training for staff, especially those involved in production, purchasing, and quality control.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for Halal compliance.
• Monitor changes in Halal regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
• Participate in new product development to ensure Halal compliance from the planning stage.
• Handle non-compliance issues, customer complaints, and provide corrective and preventive actions related to Halal matters.

Requirements :
