Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving business growth across both On-Trade (restaurants, hotels, bars) and Off-Trade (retailers, supermarkets, e-commerce) channels.
This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and building brand collaborations that enhance visibility, market share, and profitability.
The ideal candidate is both sales-driven and brand-minded — someone who can connect the dots between strategy, relationships, and results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Sales Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across On-Trade and Off-Trade markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, key accounts, and trade partners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure long-term collaborations.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of promotions, brand activations, and trade marketing campaigns.
Brand Partnerships & Collaboration
Initiate and manage strategic brand partnerships and joint campaigns that strengthen Albert Wines’ brand presence.Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute collaborative initiatives between Albert Wines and partner brands.Support brand-building activities through events, tastings, and activations to increase visibility and engagement.Market Analysis & Reporting
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to management.Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and optimize pricing or promotional strategies.Client Relationship Management
Maintain a consistent client engagement plan to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and networking sessions.Act as a brand ambassador for Albert Wines in all business dealings and collaborations.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.3–5 years of experience in business development, key account management, or sales (preferably in the FMCG, F&B, or Wines & Spirits industry).Proven ability to establish and grow partnerships in both On-Trade and Off-Trade sectors.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives.Passionate about brand development, premium products, and relationship-building.Possess own transport and willing to travel as required.Why Join Us
