Job Purpose :
Lead the Medical Sales Representative team in serving customers by selling products and meeting their needs. Coach and guide team members to resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Job Description
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of core products via successful completion of required sales training program, and utilize this knowledge to successfully sell Sun Pharma product to new and existing customers in assigned territory.
- Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports Company revenue and profit targets.
- Optimize business development plan by working closely with Sales Representative to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency through development and prequalification of leads.
- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
- Continuously expand customer understanding and use Sun Pharma product and capabilities.
- Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customer's real-time needs.
- Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Professional Services, Product Development) to promote sales for new and existing customers to maximize Craneware's visibility with hospitals, executives and professional associations.
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote Craneware product solutions and brand.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Complete sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Science or any other related field.Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.Preferably holds or has held a position at the Assistant Manager / Manager level in Healthcare – Pharmacy or a related field.Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.Willing to travel and cover General Practitioners (GPs), pharmacies, and hospitals.
