Role Overview
We are looking for a compliance-driven and proactive HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations and labour law compliance at Buildcon. This role is crucial in ensuring statutory adherence across a large workforce, while also strengthening employee relations, performance management, and HR analytics to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance & Statutory Management
Ensure full compliance with labour laws, Factory Act, CLRA, and statutory regulations (PF, etc.).
Handle labour law audits, inspections, and statutory filings with government authorities.Maintain statutory registers, employee records, and compliance documentation.Monitor and enforce contract labour compliance across all vendors and contractors.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure smooth statutory operations.Employee Life Cycle ManagementOversee the complete employee life cycle including onboarding, induction, transfers, and separations.
Manage exit formalities and ensure compliance during employee separations.HR OperationsSupervise attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
Provide accurate HR records for compliance and internal reporting.Performance Management System (PMS)Implement and monitor PMS cycles across business units.
Coordinate performance reviews and appraisal processes.Employee Relations & WelfareAct as the first point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring resolution aligned with statutory requirements.
Drive employee welfare initiatives and promote a safe, compliant, and supportive work culture.Support engagement programs to boost employee satisfaction and retention.HR Analytics & ReportingDevelop and manage HR dashboards with a focus on compliance metrics, attrition, and related data.
Deliver data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.Qualifications & Skills
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources / Labour Welfare or equivalent.5–10 years of experience in HR operations and labour law compliance (infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing industry experience preferred).Strong knowledge of labour legislations, CLRA, Factories Act, and Industrial Relations Act.Proven ability to handle audits, inspections, and compliance disputes.Proficiency in HRMS / HR software and MS Office.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Compliance-focused with strong ethical values.Ability to manage large-scale workforce environments with significant contract labour.Detail-oriented and analytical mindset for accurate compliance and reporting.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced infrastructure industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
