ICT Business Development Manager

Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing engagement and after-sales support. Identify, evaluate, and engage with potential vendors, OEMs, and reseller partners. Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations. Coordinate with technical and operations teams to deliver joint or bundled ICT offerings. Stay updated on ICT trends, products (e.g., laptops, desktops, servers, networking tools), and emerging technologies. Provide regular market feedback to management regarding competitor strategies and customer behavior. Support marketing and product teams in campaigns and new product launches. Participate in the preparation of government and private sector tender proposals. Liaise with internal tender teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Bachelor's Degree in Business , Information & Communications Technology , Marketing , or a related discipline. 5–7 years of proven experience in : Business development and key account management Handling service contracts and ICT solution offerings Managing strategic partnerships and reseller channels Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Skilled in negotiation, relationship building, and client retention Proficient in CRM platforms , Microsoft Office Suite , and ICT sales tools Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients Internal : Sales, Technical Support, Marketing, Finance, Product Teams External : Clients, OEM Vendors, Technology Partners, Government Agencies Achievement of sales revenue and target quotas Growth in client base and retention rate Value and number of strategic partnerships established Market share increase in target ICT product categories High customer satisfaction and contract renewal rates
1. Role Summary
The ICT Business Development Manager will drive the growth of the ICT division by identifying new opportunities, expanding sales pipelines, managing key client accounts, and forging strategic partnerships. The role demands a strong understanding of ICT hardware, peripherals, and service-based solutions. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, results-driven sales professional with strong communication skills and a proven track record in business development and relationship management.

Business Development & Sales Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both government and private sectors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for ICT hardware, peripherals, and service / maintenance contracts.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and cold-calling.
- Prepare and present customized business proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
