About the role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Hairstylist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Michelle hair makeup studio&academy' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Hairstylist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced stylists and contributing to the delivery of exceptional hair services to our clients. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to learn and develop your hairstyling skills within a supportive and creative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the lead hairstylists with client consultations, hairstyling, and hair treatments
• Shampooing, conditioning, and drying clients' hair in preparation for styling
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored
• Providing excellent customer service by greeting clients, offering refreshments, and ensuring their comfort throughout the service
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
• Restocking and maintaining inventory of hair care products and supplies
