Overview
The Business Development Manager plays a leadership role in driving revenue growth and market expansion. This position involves managing the BD team, setting strategic business goals, and ensuring successful execution of business development initiatives. The BD Manager will work closely with senior management to identify high-value opportunities, forge strong partnerships, and lead the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & Growth : Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market presence and revenue streams.
- Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and guide the BD team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Client & Partner Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and government agencies.
- Sales & Revenue Management : Oversee the sales pipeline, set revenue targets, and drive deal closures.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to identify business opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations for contracts, partnerships, and large-scale deals.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams : Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of BD strategies.
- Performance Tracking : Monitor key performance metrics and provide reports on sales and business development activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.Knowledge of transportation IT solutions or enterprise technology is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.About Go Hub Capital Bhd
