Key Responsibilities
Category Buying & Sourcing
- Source and procure TCG products (sealed, singles, graded cards, accessories) at competitive prices to meet Collektr’s demand pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, Local Game Stores (LGS), and secondary market sellers.
- Evaluate inventory opportunities across multiple TCG titles, balancing short-term demand with long-term market trends.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and supply agreements to maximize margin and ensure healthy category performance.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Stay on top of product release calendars (WotC, TPCi, Bandai, Disney / Lorcana, etc.) and recommend buying strategies around key launches.Track market price fluctuations, demand spikes, and secondary market activity to guide buying decisions.Provide insights to the team on global TCG trends, collector behaviors, and competitive marketplaces.Work closely with Marcomm to design campaigns and activations around major product launches.Inventory & Sales Optimization
Ensure optimal stock levels for livestream sales, marketplace listings, and special campaigns.Collaborate with Ops and Logistics to track, manage, and forecast TCG inventory.Analyze sell-through performance, adjusting buying strategies for maximum turnover and profitability.Support creation of “hype moments” (e.g., product drops, case breaks, chase card hunts) to drive engagement and revenue.Community & Ecosystem Building
Engage with the TCG community — from competitive players to casual collectors — to strengthen Collektr’s reputation as a trusted hub.Act as an internal “voice of the category,” representing the interests of TCG buyers and sellers in product planning.Support partnerships with LGS, influencers, and tournament organizers to expand Collektr’s TCG presence.(Apply now at #J-18808-Ljbffr
