Position Overview
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, clients, and visitors. This role is responsible for providing professional front desk service, managing inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily administrative and front office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, clients, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly and accurately.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy, presentable, and well-organized.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
- Assist with check-in / check-out procedures (for hotel / guest services environment).
- Maintain visitor logs and issue security passes as required.
- Support office administration tasks such as filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling.
- Provide general information to guests, clients, and staff as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
Requirements
Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Associate, or similar role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Good organizational and multitasking abilities.Customer-oriented with a professional appearance.Working Conditions
