Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead and drive our B2B, Modern Trade, and General Trade business operations within the FMCG sector. This role is accountable for defining commercial strategies, managing key channels, and leading a high-performing team to deliver sustainable sales growth and strong market presence
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales and trade marketing teams to achieve company sales and growth objectives.
- Establish clear performance goals, monitor progress, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key trade partners, including distributors, buyers, and category managers.
- Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and promotional agreements in alignment with overall commercial strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market coverage and drive channel penetration.
- Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute trade marketing activities that enhance brand visibility and conversion.
- Oversee in-store activations, merchandising, and display programs to ensure strong market execution.
- Manage trade and A&P budgets effectively, tracking ROI and optimizing spending efficiency.
- Partner with supply chain and marketing teams to align demand planning, stock availability, and trade execution timelines.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to guide strategy and tactical decisions.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and business insights to support management decision-making.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve channel productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.6–10 years of experience in FMCG sales or commercial management, with a track record in Modern Trade and General Trade.Solid understanding of trade marketing and channel development.Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Analytical thinker with a strategic yet hands-on approach.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.Willingness to travel for customer meetings and market visits.Requirements
