The Head of Sales & Marketing, Malaysia is responsible for driving student enrolments, brand awareness, and revenue growth across all campuses in the country. The role requires strong strategic leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to position the organization as a leading education provider in Malaysia. The role also oversees local admissions teams and marketing functions, ensuring alignment with the group’s global brand and enrolment goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
LEADERSHIPLead the Sales & Marketing function across all campuses in MalaysiaDesign and implement country-specific marketing and admissions strategies aligned with group-level business plans and brand guidelinesProvide market intelligence and country-specific insights to the leadership team to inform decision-makingWork closely with the Country Director and other functional heads to ensure an integrated approach to school growth and operationsSALES & ADMISSIONSOwn and drive student enrolment targets across all campuses in MalaysiaForecast admissions and revenue based on market trends, lead flow, and conversion ratesMonitor and report admissions performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basisDrive effective lead management, follow-up mechanisms, and parent engagement strategiesEnsure the admissions process is smooth, parent-centric, and aligned to brand promiseMARKETINGLead the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy for MalaysiaSupervise in-country marketing and sales teams to build strong brand positioning and awarenessDrive online and offline marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, events, school outreach, and media relationsOversee external marketing agencies and ensure campaign messaging is localized and effectiveCollaborate with the group marketing team to ensure brand consistency and performance reporting4. BUDGETING & FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT
Collaborate with the Country Director and Finance team to plan the Sales & Marketing budget for MalaysiaMonitor marketing ROI and cost-per-lead metrics to ensure budget efficiencyProvide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize performance and spend5. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & COMMUNICATION
Drive customer (parent) satisfaction through proactive engagement, follow-ups, and a seamless admissions journeyAct as a key spokesperson in prospective parent interactions and open housesCollaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure strong alignment between promises made during admissions and actual school experience6.
