What you'll be doing?
- Technical Support : Provide expert technical and engineering support for medical equipment, including on-site maintenance servicing for devices like electric wheelchairs and hospital beds.
- Customer Service : Deliver high-quality after-sales maintenance services and perform precise calibration of electronic components to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Problem Solving : Manage routine repair work, conduct troubleshooting, and oversee installation setups to keep medical equipment running smoothly.
- Inventory Management : Oversee spare-parts inventory and efficiently handle warranty part returns to minimize downtime.
- Scheduling : Plan and execute routine servicing schedules, while also assisting with equipment setup for demonstrations and new installations.
- Documentation : Ensure accurate documentation, notification, tracking, and follow-up of all technical matters, preparing detailed technical service reports.
- Manufacturer Liaison : Communicate effectively with manufacturers to address complaints and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Emergency Response : Be ready to respond quickly to breakdown repairs on short notice, ensuring minimal disruption to medical services.
- Versatility : Assist with delivery tasks and provide valuable technical support at demonstrations and exhibitions as needed.
Who are they looking for?
Technical Expertise : Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent), with a passion for applying your knowledge to medical technology.Driving Capability : Possess a valid driving license and have access to your own transport, as on-site servicing is a key part of the role.Relevant Experience : Bring at least 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance servicing and troubleshooting of similar medical equipment.Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with GDPMD guidelines and medical device regulations is a plus, demonstrating your commitment to industry standards.Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, coupled with good English communication and report-writing abilities to ensure clear and effective interactions with colleagues and clients.Multilingual Advantage : Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective communication within a diverse team environment.Why you should consider this opportunity?
