Assistant Manager – Engineering (Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil)

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur is the first Hyatt Place hotel in Malaysia, located in Bukit Jalil, a southern suburb of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel features approximately 250 guestrooms, a three‑meal restaurant, a large ballroom and four meeting rooms, a flexible event space on the rooftop, a fitness centre and a sky pool.

We are seeking an energetic Assistant Manager – Engineering to lead and maintain the engineering and maintenance functions across the hotel, ensuring top quality, safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team, supervising maintenance hosts and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments.
• Ensure daily cleaning and energy expenses are monitored and controlled.
• Conduct safety inspections, fire, and security related incidents and submit initial reports.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules for all guest rooms and public areas.
• Support troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement of engineering operations.
• Represent Hyatt International and maintain strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives.
