GENERAL MANAGER - MALAYSIA BRANCH
POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Manager will establish and lead our new branch in Malaysia, developing strategic business initiatives while building a strong local presence in the Southeast Asian market. The ideal candidate will combine Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O expertise with entrepreneurship to drive business growth in alignment with our global vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the Malaysia branch, ensuring alignment with headquarters while adapting to local market conditions
- Identify and cultivate market opportunities throughout Southeast Asia, establishing a robust client network to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Represent the company in key industry forums and develop strategic partnerships to enhance market positioning
Operational Excellence
Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, implementing effective systems and processes to ensure efficient service deliveryDevelop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve business targetsEstablish compliance frameworks aligned with Malaysian regulations and company governance standardsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Expertise
Leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to develop market-specific solutionsBuild relationships with Microsoft ecosystem partners to enhance solution offerings and create competitive advantagesGuide technical teams in solution development and implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and business valueTalent & Culture Development
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing multicultural team aligned with company valuesFoster an entrepreneurial culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and performance excellenceImplement effective performance management systems to drive team development and retentionRelationship Maintenance
Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associationsServe as the primary liaison between headquarters and the Malaysia branch, ensuring effective communicationRepresent the company with clients, partners, and the broader business communityQUALIFICATIONS
Education & Language
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fieldProfessional fluency in English (assessment required during interview process)Professional fluency in the local languages of Malaysia.Professional Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in sales, implementation, or solution management rolesDemonstrated experience in business development, preferably in the Southeast Asian marketExperience establishing new business units or leading entrepreneurial initiativesCore Competencies
