Quality Control Executive

Overview

Assist QC manager to monitor and control the Quality Management System of Incoming Quality Control, In-Process Quality Control and Final Inspection of products.

Set up quality requirements for raw materials and intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.

Troubleshoot quality-related problems in the plant with production and other department concerned.

Assist QC manager and assistant manager to oversee work flow efficiency within the department by monitoring and strengthen QC systems as set parameters to reduce incidences of materials or product flaws.

Align with QA on the quality policy, manual and system procedures (standard testing / inspection / operation procedures) revisions and re-issuance with compliance to ISO 22000 and BRC standards.

Assist QC manager and assistant manager to prepare working procedures, training procedures (ensuring all QC personnel are competency qualify and well trained) and departmental organization chart / work flow chart.

Prepare COA for local and export customers, as well as sample send to lab.

Review non-conformance report, customer complaints and other associated documents in the adequacy of product characteristics proposing on corrective actions.

Acts as point of contact and through professional judgment in evaluation, suggests resolution to food safety and quality concerns in the absence of the Quality Manager or Assistant Manager.

Undertakes other responsibilities pertaining to food safety and quality when assigned from time to time.
