About the role
Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager (Accounts) to join our team in Ampang, Selangor. As a full-time position, this role will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting for the company.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
To ensure that the QSHE management system conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.
Analyse financial data and provide strategic recommendations to support business decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiativesSupervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environmentImplement process improvements and streamline accounting procedures to enhance efficiencyTo liaise with banks & finance companies on financial matters and to handle cash management with major banks.To comply with client and legal and other requirements applicable to the department.To monitor and ensure that the department is implementing the QSHE management system and conforming to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.To coordinate and verify the work of team members, ensuring procedures are adhered to and all relevant documents are captured correctly into the accounting system and on timely basis.To prepare monthly inter-company, suppliers & subcontractors account reconciliation.Manage over 400 account payable and account receivables while working directly with the Finance and Admin General Manager.To liaise with personnel at site and head office on all accounting related matters.What we're looking for
Bachalor's Degree in appropriate field of studyMinimum 10 years of experience in in construction environment preferably in the management role.
Proven track record of managing accounting operations and leading a team of accounting professionals
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insightsProficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis toolsStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsProfessional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is preferred
