The role described is for the Malaysia team : PR & Consumer Activation Assistant Manager, based in Kuala Lumpur.
Role Summary
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the commercial success of the business unit and for accelerating Coty’s ambitions through impactful marketing strategy and impeccable execution.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing FSS activation plans, including creating promotional activities, display strategies, and retail media initiatives.
- Plan and schedule all customer-facing activities with brand managers.
- Ensure in-store activations align with brand / launch ambitions to enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze CRM performance by measuring KPIs such as traffic flow, conversion rates, and consumer recruitment to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee end-to-end CRM campaign execution—from planning and audience segmentation to testing, QA, and post-campaign reporting.
- Develop and execute CRM strategies, including lifecycle programs, loyalty strategies, and personalized campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (brand, commercial, education, VM) to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless campaign execution.
- Identify and leverage new opportunities by tracking consumer trends and competitors’ activities to engage consumers and enhance brand experiences.
- Explore collaborations with malls or fashion houses alongside the brand team to enhance brand awareness and traffic.
- Plan and execute social media strategy across categories (Fragrance, Makeup, Skincare); manage influencer relationships to drive traffic to online / offline sales touchpoints with measurable KPIs.
- Create compelling content to amplify brand awareness, attract, engage and convert consumers; work with the brand team to drive synergy across digital touchpoints.
- Execute media / consumers / KOL events (launch press events, media trips, Meet & Greet events); manage paid and unpaid influencer campaigns with agencies, ensuring best-in-class execution aligned with brand guidelines.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Brand Expertise : strong understanding of the brand and its target audience.Experience in managing FSS : proven ability to execute retail marketing and promotional activities in FSS.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multiple teams.Analytical skills to analyze CRM data and provide actionable recommendations.Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive results.Network with media contacts across Traditional / Digital / Social and lifestyle influencers is a plus.Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in beauty industry and prestige / luxury brand environments.High efficiency and strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.Seniority level
