Role Overview
The Commissioning Engineer plays a key role in delivering high-performance data centers. You will ensure that critical systems — power, cooling, controls, and safety — are installed and tested properly, working exactly as intended.
What you'll be doing
- Provide technical advice to client on Data Center MEP commissioning services.
- Review design documentation.
- Lead a commission team for commissioning (Cx) activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing, Pre-Start Up Testing, Performance Testing, Functional Testing, Integrated Systems Testing for Data Center project.
- Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans, commissioning programme, test scripts, method statements and Cx related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the integration and testing of various systems.
- Review contractor method statements.
- Review manufacturer test scripts.
- Produce weekly and monthly commissioning progress reports.
- Document all commissioning activities and findings, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in DC commissioning or similar mission-critical facilities.Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems commonly found in Data Centers.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and documentation skills.About us
