Job Title : Events Executive
As an Event Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting with the overall events, activities, and functions of the association. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth planning, execution, and follow-up of various events organized by the association. You will work closely with the events team to deliver exceptional experiences for attendees and stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, organising and coordinating offline and online events.
- To work closely with Organising Chairperson, Committee, internal Secretariat team and suppliers for each assigned event to ensure pre-event matters are planned and executed accordingly as well as smooth running on event day.
- Communicate with internal and external parties on matters related to events planning, meetings, venue booking, liaison with guests or speakers, Members related and Government Bodies (if any).
- Exhibition Planning and Coordination – manage and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless exhibition execution.
- Coordinate event registration processes and handle participant(s) inquiries and requests.
- Handle event related administration work, including create event registration form, event budget planning, event analysis report etc.
- Assist in prepare and design flyers, certificate, presentation slides etc.
- Perform any ad-hoc assignments / duties / administration work involves administrative functions, activities and events of the association as assigned by the supervisors.
- Posses own transport and willing to travel.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in related fieldPossess good communication skills and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.Knowledge of current exhibition trends and industry best practices is an added advantage.Able to coordinate or carry task assigned in a timely manner, with good resilience.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field or similar capacities.Possess initiative working attitude and result oriented.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.Fast and willing to learn.Familiarity with association management is an advantage.Required Skill(s) Added Advantage
