Head of Regulatory Compliance – APJ Region
TD SYNNEX is seeking a seasoned leader with a passion for regulatory compliance to join our global compliance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a dedicated compliance team across APJ, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain robust compliance frameworks for import, export, and export control across all TD SYNNEX companies in the APJ region, representing compliance matters in senior management and legal forums.
- Oversee import compliance, coordinate policy and procedures, and implement duty deferral and mitigation programs.
- Support the senior director of global export licensing to ensure all transactions comply with U.S. re‑export and country‑specific export licensing requirements and lead deployment of the E2 Open Export Licensing Module in APJ by 2026.
- Manage regulatory compliance for Greater China and Hong Kong, including U.S. Treasury investment rule, DOJ Bulk Information Rule, and other relevant restrictions.
- Support environmental product compliance, including packaging, WEEE, and fee recovery in APJ.
- Conduct self‑assessments to validate import valuations, classifications, and other regulatory obligations, and develop remediation plans.
Qualifications
4‑year university degree required; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of regulatory compliance experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Experience in high‑tech industry and APJ customs compliance essential.Extensive knowledge of import‑export regulations and compliance laws, with proven ability to collaborate with regulators and business partners.Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to inspire teams and drive impactful change.Key Skills
