Position Summary
The Head of Alumni Central is responsible for leading the strategic direction, operations, and development of alumni engagement initiatives. This role ensures strong connections between the University and its alumni community, enhancing alumni participation, networking, career development opportunities, and contributions to the institution's growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement the University's alumni engagement strategy in alignment with institutional goals.
- Build strong relationships with alumni, industry partners, and stakeholders to strengthen the University's reputation and network.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure alumni engagement, participation, and impact.
Alumni Engagement & Programs
Plan, coordinate, and oversee alumni programs, events, and reunions to foster strong alumni relationships.Develop mentorship and networking platforms to connect alumni with current students and recent graduates.Enhance alumni contributions towards student employability, internships, and career placements.Communication & Outreach
Oversee the development of alumni publications, newsletters, and digital engagement platforms (website, social media, alumni portal).Ensure regular communication to highlight alumni achievements and University updates.Strengthen the University's alumni database and ensure effective tracking and reporting.Fundraising & Contributions
Collaborate with University leadership to design and implement alumni giving, fundraising, and endowment programs.Encourage alumni participation in philanthropic initiatives and campus development projects.Operational & Administrative
Manage the Alumni Central team, budget, and resources effectively.Prepare reports, proposals, and strategic updates for University leadership.Ensure compliance with University policies, regulations, and best practices.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (Master's preferred).Minimum 7–10 years of experience in alumni relations, student affairs, higher education management, or related areas.Proven leadership, networking, and stakeholder management skills.Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation abilities.Experience in event management, fundraising, or partnership development will be an advantage.Proficiency in digital tools, CRM systems, and social media engagement.Job Type : Full-time
