Overview
Reporting to the Accounting Manager and Receiving Supervisor the Accounts Officer will be responsible for the following :
- Posting daily sales and cash journals
- Prepare reconciliation worksheet for daily store balance sheets.
- Daily Cash Deposit Reconciliations
- Participate in store inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Provide support and feedback on balancing procedures.
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
Presently pursuing Accounting DesignationKnowledge of LS Retail / NAVWorking knowledge with Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with Pivot tables.Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting in a similar roleExperience in the retail industry and understanding of inventory accounting.Willingness to work Saturdays and holidays, as needed.Ability to learn and work independently in a deadline driven environment.Proven problem solving and investigative skills.Remuneration
Remuneration is from CI$28,000 – CI$32,000 per annum commensurate with experience.
Additional information
Applicants must be willing to work late shifts, weekends and public holidays where needed. A clear Police record and fluency in English is required. Package includes health insurance and pension benefits as specified by Cayman Islands law.
