Our client is a global pharmaceutical company seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to join its team in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute medical strategies to support specialty care products.
  • Provide medical expertise in cross-functional discussions and decision-making.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to share scientific insights.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of medical materials for promotional and non-promotional use.
  • Support clinical development, including investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence projects.
  • Conduct medical training for internal teams to enhance product knowledge.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • PhD or Medical Doctor (MD) qualification is required.
  • Experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Background in specialty care areas such as oncology, hematology, immunology or related fields.
  • Ability to interpret clinical data and communicate scientific information effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • People management experience would be an advantage
